Latin Alliance was a Latin rap supergroup established by Kid Frost in 1989. Latin Alliance's best known track is a cover version of "Low Rider" by WAR. It was produced by Will Roc, Tony G, and Frost. Ralph M provided the scratching, with Frost, ALT, Markski and Mellow Man Ace on vocals. This was the only album the group released.
Members of Latin Alliance: A.L.T., Hip Hop Astronaut, Kid Frost, Lyrical Engineer, The Lyrical Latin, Markski, Mellow Man Ace, Rayski Rockswell, and Scoop DeVille.
TRIVIA: The name Latin Alliance was translated into Italian and gave its name to Italy's first hip hop mag, Aelle, short for Alleanza Latina. There is also a more recent Italian rap group called Alleanza Latina. |
