Fast servers was not what encouraged me to fork over the cash for a Rapidshare account. I am as cheap as they get, and the download speed does not warrant the fee. The main reason was because they do not allow free users to pause downloads. I use a download manager that allows me to start and stop downloads anytime that is convenient for me. Pausing downloads saves me a ton of time.
Unfortunately, not everybody uses Megaupload download links, so I needed to get a Rapidshare account. It appears as if most blog sites use the Rapidshare service.
I upload my files to Sharebee, so it does not leave the Megaupload people in the cold.
