I always think of Bakersfield as Central / Southern california. Its like 30 minutes from Fresno and Fresno's supposed to be the middle.

The thing about it is people dont even consider that big ass chunch of land above Sacramento as even being on the map so the actual center of California is like Stockton so anything below that is literally southern california.

your smoking crack if you think fresno is 30minutes away from bakersfield.

i live between fresno and bakersfield and it takes me about an hour to an hour and 15minutes to reach either city.

the drive alone from fresno to bakersfield or vis versa is almost a 1hour and 50minute to 2 hour drive.

anywayz because of bakersfields and surrounding cities location its considered so-cal even though its cen-cal.

Ain't Bakersfield like a little over an hour outside LA?

To me Bakersfield is SO Cal and Visalia witch is south of Fresno I consider Nor Cal.
To me central Cal is part of Nor Cal except Bakersfiled witch is So Cal
