and a couple of months off, record producers and the such all went ova the bay to get people record deals.. but they was all complainin and some were asking too much for money..

Lil jon called e40 like realizin crunk wuz dead n hyphy was the "new crunk" or sum shit n told 40 he should run wit it (cuz everyone knows 40 was not hyphy before My Ghetto Report Card). So e40 did his thing and turned his flow really mainstream, but it got da bay alot of attention n left ppl askin Now What? Sum of u said bay artists fumbled but idk i feel like bay cats r too dope to fumble. I think they kind of shyed away from the whole mainstream attention just cuz they were afraid of sellin out. Look at e40 he makes Tell Me When to Go n U & Dat and ppl are accusin him of sellin out. If ur a rapper one of the worst things u can be called besides garbage is a sellout yadada? I mean sure when u sellout u make a few million and gain a large nationwide fan base, but at the same time u lose some of ur more loyal fans, not to mention most of that nationwide fan base are some 16 year old white girls who only tune into their Top 40 radio Station n think "LOL GO DUMB HEHEHE!!!!".

have u heard the 40 song where he constantly yells Chalupa, that something that people like e40 for is being funny and bringing up old taco bell menu items, but really mac dre was rappin bout chalupas before that song was made. anyways before u 40 fans get pissed im not saying that the self proclaimed 'king of slang' steals everything but he has bitten mac dres verses more times then i could point out in this post and i think you shouldnt have to do that shit if ur the king of slang.
