Thursday night July 10th:

At around 10:15 Pm central standard time, Dwayne Carter "aka" Lil' Wayne was arrested on one count of second-degree aggravated assault, one count of disturbing the peace, and two counts for possession of a firearm.

According to an eyewitness the incident took place in the VIP lounge at Club Dream in downtown New Orleans. The eyewitness reports that an up and coming rapper performing that night who goes by the name of Lil' Dee, approached Lil' Wayne with an intent to start a fight.

The two exchanged words when Lil' Wayne got out of his lounge chair headed of VIP. According to the eyewitness then, Lil' Dee grappled Lil' Wayne's arm and turned him around.

When Wayne's bodyguard approached Dee, Wayne reportedly laughed it off and retorted, "What you gonna do to me uh Im the fucking man of this city!" Wayne then continued heading out of the VIP area. Sources state that Lil' Dee grabbed Lil' Wayne once more and without a moments hesitation punched him in the face. Lil' Wayne was knocked down causing the room into a frenzy.

Jefferson and Orleans Parish Police Officers arrived on the scene as secuirity guards ushered patrons out of the area. There they arrested both men for aggravated assault and disturbing the peace.

Witnesses say officers found two unregistered pistol on Wayne and immediately arrested him.

Oh boy, so it looks like Lil Wayne might’ve gotten locked up again last night at club Dream in New Orleans. According to sources, Weezy was approached by some nobody probably wanting to talk about a deal when things went sour. Supposedly Weezy laughed in the guys face proclaiming his status as the King of New Orleans when the guy snapped and a brief scuffle ensued.

Cops were called and both men were arrested. But it gets worst for Mr. Carter; rumor has it police also found two unregistered pistols on him. He was escorted out of the club and into a jail cell. Wayne has reportedly been charged with one count of second-degree aggravated assault, one count of disturbing the peace, and two counts for possession of a firearm.

I don’t want to burst anyones bubble, but isn’t this the same club that claimed Weezy was going to reunite with the Hot Boyz on all star weekend and never happened?
