Target stores are pulling their "Illegal Alien" costume from their online store after members of the Latin community spoke out in anger. In interviews with the press, the Executive director of the Coalition for Human Immigrant Rights, Angelica Salas, has called the costume "distasteful, mean-spirited, and ignorant..." A photo of the costume shows a space alien head with an orange jumpsuit and an over-sized green card. Target has issued an apology, saying they never intended to put the item up for sale and that it was an error. In the meantime, the costume is still available as they work with partner Amazon.com, the company in charge of their website. Although the offense has already damaged Target's reputation, some are still left to wonder if it truly was an error. And if so, why Target would poke fun at the Latino community.   |

how are they "poking fun" at the latino community???any race can be an illegal alien...i dont see anyting wrong with the costume n im mexican

Anybody hear about the pedobear story. Some place had to pull their costume. I was like "what!! That would be hella funny seeing some fool walking down the street as a pedobear". It'd be fucked up for the community, though.
