No braggin but I do have a 99 Seville STS and Rob just got a 92 Seville STS (its a 4.9 and not a 4.6 N* though ). He likes his car and I like mine. I was going to get a clean ass 97 Eldo but I called the dealer before I left and he said it was being purchased at that very moment.

Just be warned that 97-99 N* are at more risk for HG Failure and trust me that's a repair that is more than the car is worth unless you can tow it to a place in Eastern Canada that does the repair for pretty cheap and stands by their work. Pre-97 and 2000+ are still susceptible to the HG failure...only N* engines though so the 4.9L should be safe.

Also, fixing these cars aint cheap. My alternator is water cooled and requires a lot of labor, my alt new was $300 (not dealer) and installation was $350.

I enjoy my car, even though it has a few problems, it still has good acceleration and is fun to drive. If you decide to buy one join Cadillacforums.com/forums to learn proper maintenance and get help if something goes wrong. Its a great forum with intelligent Cadillac Owners

cadillacs are a pain in the ass.

its going to break down on you and need repairs alot more than your average car.
and not to mention its a gas guzzler and your gonna spend more money on gas in 6 months than you paid for the whole car.

listen to the experts when people say this

american cars = garbage

japanese = best quality for your buck

german = best quality for a bigger buck.

You can't be more wrong Sicc...

I get 25mpg highway, 19.4 avg...I only use Shell V-Power and I can last 5-6 days without filling up

These cars do not break down a lot...repairs can be expensive truly not that frequent.

Until you actually drive one you can't talk about them...these cars are amazing.

of course your saying that.....you have a cadi.

everyones gonna back up their car they drive.

but if you ask a mechanic or car expert they will all tell you to STAY AWAY FROM AMERICAN CARS.

cadillac is known for having big engines and eating gas and they are KNOWN for having engine problems and the motor mounts BREAK all the time.

my boy left me his 89 sedan deville on dubs when he went on vacation and i drove it for a week and left it parked in front my pad.

piece of shit!

my other boy has a brougham and its a bigger pain in the ass.

the best, long lasting, most reliable cars in the world are japanese cars.

i guarantee you a nissan or acura will outlast any cadillac by 20 years and wont have engine issues.

when i had my 2002 nissan maxima i never had to take it to a mechanic. all i ever had to do was change the oil.

it never gave me problems!!

we will see how your cadi is doin in a few months. lol
