check craigslist, or if you know someones dad with a dealers lisence you can get into dealer auctions with him and get yourself somethin real nice for only a couple grand

Alameda County also has an auction out in Dublin every weekend

Also, an old co-worker told me that SF has a car auction at one of the piers I think on wednesdays but I could never find info on it

Alameda county auction is the first Saturday of each month in Dublin.. There was just one this past saturday. Like others have said there are other auctions around too.

yeah, you can buy from the SF Police. That's how my homie got his Blazer and two scrapes (not customized though). I think he still got the oldsmobile cutlass for sale. Only thing is that you can't see if it runs or not. His blazer is bucket as fuck but he put one JL 13.5 in there and goes 4 wheelin lol

dont ever buy a car at a car auction.
you cant test drive them, check the engine and mechanicals.
you just look at it on the lot and bid.

if you win the car you take home a piece of shit that breaks down every month. lol

check autotrader/craigslist/even bay area news has a car selling section.
or go to the used car lots in santa clara on el camino,.
they are not dealerships. just lots that ppl sell their cars on.
for HELLA cheap. good whips. u can test drive it on the spot.
