normally i'd go with dell, but the acer has got Ati graphics and a gig more of ram. (ive never noticed the difference between normal single channel and dual channel RAM.)

I'm not a gamer so the graphics is not big for me...this is mainly to surf the web, watch videos on the net and listen to music...

I may go with this one actually, 4gb RAM for the same price In Store at the Staples in SF

^LOL, this computer I have now is a Dell from back in like 2001 or 2002, stock 128mb ram and 55gb...now my RAM has been up'd to 768mb, still shitty...this computer has been through hell, 1 system restore, twice I had to reinstall windows cuz it crashed and tons of viruses...now its fine just old and shows it

^if its in your area...I might call up the one in San Mateo but they have a limited stock

Yeah the processor on that computer is crap and we have Comcast Cable interwebz but that shit is slow, the downloads are nowhere near what they should be

Once I get it I'm gonna do a speedtest from my LT then on my house cpu to see the difference
