I was playing homebrew NES and my battery was running low. So I turned it off by switch without leaving the NES emulator...
I chargered it for a few mins and turned it on and the orange wifi light on the left is flashing like crazy and the screen lights up but is blank and black.
ur battery might not work anymore that same problem happen to my boys psp u can try to charge it for a long time but if it still don't work then the main battery inside is fucked up hopefully this helped
might be semi bricked. Ive never used homebrew emulators so ive never experienced that kind of problem.
can you got to the Recovery Mode?
Usually when the left orange light blinks like crazy, i usually take the memory stick out and put it back in. Or have you tried taking the battery out?
Other than that, i think i had a similiar problem, when i turned on the PSP it would just show a blank black screen. I had to get my friend to fix it (who downgraded my psp) and he had to do some complicating shit hes ever done to fix it. I even had to pay him 30 bucks so he can buy some translation shit cuz my psp was a japanese version i think. Anyways, i dont really know anything. Aslong as you can get into the Recovery Mode, ur capable of getting it fixed. The reason why mine got fucked up was cuz i was messing with the important files in the PSP. that was like 2 years ago.

its pretty easy to de-brick PSPs. all you need is a pandoras battery and the magic mem stick files on the memory card. i keep a backup card and battery at home in case i ever brick mine.
