After all my research and everything I ended up buying a Samsung. They are one of the top two best tv companies in the world (the other being panasonic). I got the LN32B360 model. It's 32 inches and is the best 32 incher you can buy on the market right now thats 720p. It is highly reviewed and highly accepted as the best tv for anyone on a budget. Which leads me to my next topic, price. I got mine for 450 bucks. Its an amazing price considering every other store had it for 500 plus (I got it on sale). Right now you can get it for around 500. Best buy has it going for 516 which isn't bad at all. Shop around and im sure you can get it for slightly cheaper. Frys had it up for 469, but not sure if they still have it for that price. I got it from best buy and setup was a breeze and the picture quality is amazing. It is comparable to my 1080p 52 inch plasma up front. No joke, this tv is a must have if your looking for a great TV. Here is a link to the Best Buy site with the TV. Go ahead and look at the customer reviews and see how great the TV is rated. If its too much out of your range then PM me and ill let you know about some others. Let me know what you decide of getting bro and let me know if you have any questions. Like I said, I did lots of research so I know what im talking about.

dumb ass.... LCD costs way more than plasma.
go to any frys/bb in the bay area and check the prices.
plasmas are cheaper and have faster moving pictures and are good for sports and gaming.
lcds are lighter and the light lasts longer in the back of the tv. and are good for bluray.

if its a 32 then i would get 720p because you are not going to real notice the difference between 720 and 1080. plus the 720s are cheaper. and yes if you rocking a ps3, the games only go up to 720p...go figure. i'd go with a nice samsung
